# Linear

> Connect Linear to sync issues and projects

Connect Linear to Realm to make issues, comments, and projects searchable. Navigate to **Settings** > **Data sources** and click **Connect** on Linear, or click **Reconnect** if already connected.

## Connecting Linear

Connect Linear using an API key. On the data source page, enter your Linear API key and click **Submit**. The person connecting should be a Linear workspace admin.

Once connected, Realm begins syncing issues and comments from your Linear workspace.

## What gets synced

## Permissions

Realm enforces Linear's native permission model. Users can only see issues they have access to in Linear.

You can override this by switching to "Everyone in this organization" on the data source settings page, which makes all synced Linear data visible to all Realm users.
