# API access

> Control API access for your organization

The Realm API section in Organization Settings controls who can create API keys. Navigate to **Settings** > **Organization settings**.

## API keys for all users

By default, only admins can create API keys. Toggle **API Keys for All Users** on to allow everyone in the organization to create their own keys.

When disabled, only admins can create and manage API keys from the [API Keys](/admin/api) page. When enabled, all users can access the API Keys page from their Preferences.
