# Tender discovery

> Realm scans public procurement portals and flags the tenders worth bidding on

Realm finds public tenders and labels each one by how well it fits what you sell. Your team reviews the tenders and starts projects from the right ones.

To start, open **Tender Discovery** in the sidebar.

Tender discovery is enabled per organization. Contact your Realm team to turn it on.

## From publication to project

**1. Set your criteria**

Pick your countries and describe what you sell. See [Evaluation criteria](https://docs.withrealm.com/tenders/evaluation.md).

**2. Realm labels tenders**

Each open tender in your countries and CPV codes gets a relevance label. New tenders get a label as they arrive. See [Relevance labels](https://docs.withrealm.com/tenders/evaluation.md#relevance-labels).

**3. Review**

**Relevant tenders** lists those tenders. **All tenders** lists every tender. See [Reviewing tenders](https://docs.withrealm.com/tenders/reviewing.md).

**4. Turn on alerts**

Alerts are off by default. Choose which new tenders alert you, how often, and where. See [Queues and alerts](https://docs.withrealm.com/tenders/queues-and-alerts.md).

**5. Start a project**

Click **Create project** on a tender. See [Create a project](https://docs.withrealm.com/tenders/reviewing.md#create-a-project).

## Where tenders come from

* Realm collects public notices from national procurement portals and from TED, the EU tender journal.
* The country picker in **Evaluation criteria** shows which countries you can follow.
