What are agents?
Agents automate specific tasks and workflows. You define their instructions, what knowledge they can access, and which tools they can use. When an agent runs, either manually or through a trigger, it uses a large language model to interpret the instructions, retrieve relevant context from your company’s knowledge, and take actions in connected systems. For example, a discovery preparation agent can help sellers prepare for upcoming meetings. Every morning at 9 AM it checks your calendar for upcoming calls, gathers context from the CRM and web search, and sends a short briefing to Slack.Key features

- Instructions (Runbook): Define how the agent works. Write step-by-step instructions that specify its persona, task, process, and output format.
- Triggers: Run agents automatically on a schedule (for example every Monday at 9 AM) or in response to events, such as when a deal moves to a new stage in your CRM.
- Tools and actions: Allow agents to interact with external applications and perform actions in systems like your CRM or email.
- Knowledge: Control what information the agent can access. Select data sources, enable web search, or upload files to provide the right context.
- Advanced settings: Enable additional capabilities such as Research, Sub-agents, Data Analysis, and Image Generation.
