Available filters
Realm offers five filters to narrow down your search. You can apply as many at the same time as you wish.| Filter | Description |

| From | Show results from specific authors. |
| Created | Show results created within a certain time range. |
| Updated | Show results last updated within a certain time range. |
| Type | Show results from specific file types like PDFs, Issues, or Spreadsheets. |
| App | Show results from a specific connected app. |
Sorting results
By default, the most relevant results are shown first. You can also sort by Last Edited, Oldest Edited, Last Created, or Oldest Created.Document previews
Preview search results inside Realm by clicking Open Preview. Supported preview types include documents (PDFs, Word, Google Docs), spreadsheets, presentations, messages (Slack, Teams), and wiki pages (Confluence, Notion).Turn into chat
From the search results page, use the Turn into chat feature to seamlessly convert your search query into a conversation, allowing you to ask follow-up questions with the Realm Assistant.Chat with a document
Click Chat with the document on a search result or from the preview pane. A new chat opens with the document attached as context. Ask questions to summarize the file or find specific information within it.When you use this function, Realm’s answers are based only on the content of that specific file. To ask a broader question, remove the file from the chat input.
